ACBF PORTFOLIO IN ZIMBABWE
The co-operation between the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe (GoZ) and the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) dates as far back as 1991. Zimbabwe is the host country for ACBF’s and has extended a Headquarters Agreement to the Foundation at its creation in 1991. This note aims to give the status of the ACBF portfolio in Zimbabwe since year 2000. The Note presents an overview of ACBF supported projects in Zimbabwe with regional and national scope and gives an update on the preparation of new interventions, namely: the Zimbabwe Capacity Development Needs Assessment and Country Program and a regional project to support enhancement of local governance submitted by the Municipal Development Partnership- Eastern and Southern Africa (MDP-ESA) read more
