  1. THE ERITREAN CAPACITY BUILDING PROJECT FOR ECONOMIC POLICY ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT (EPAM)

    On 24th October 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation and the Government of the State of Eritrea signed a Grant Agreement of US$900,000 geared towards supporting the Eritrean Capacity Building Project for Economic Policy Analysis and Management (EPAM). The Agreement was signed at the ACBF Headquarters in Harare, Zimbabwe.

  1. THE STRATEGIC TRANSFORMATION AND POLICY CENTRE (STPC)

    On 25th September 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation and the Government of the Republic of Cape Verde conclude the exchange of instruments for a Grant Agreement of US$1,000,000 for the Strategic Transformation and Policy Centre (STPC).

  2. THE PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM AT THE GHANA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (PSMTP-GIMPA)

    On 25th September 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA, signed a Grant Agreement of US$ 3,000,000. The signing of the Grant Agreement took place in Accra, Ghana. The PSMTP will be hosted by GIMPA for Anglophone West African countries.

  3. THE PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM AT AFRICA UNIVERSITY

    On 22nd September 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the Africa University, signed a Grant Agreement of US$ 3,000,000. The signing of the Grant Agreement took place in Harare, Zimbabwe. The PSMTP will be hosted by Africa University for Anglophone, East and Southern African countries.

  4. Africa Futures Institute (AFI)

    On 2nd September 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation and the African Futures Institute (AFI) signed a Grant Agreement of US$ 800,000, geared towards the strengthening of the capacity of national planning institutions to define, quantify and shape long term planning and development frameworks such as the Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSP) process.

  5. Third Phase of The Institute of Policy Analysis and Research
    (IPAR III)

    On 2nd September 2005, the African Capacity Building and the Institute of Policy Analysis and Research (IPAR), Kenya signed a Grant Agreement of US$1,2000,000 for the third phase (IPAR III), geared towards the strengthening of capacity for economic policy analysis and research in Kenya.

  1. PROJET DE RENFORCEMENT DE LA RESPONSABILITE FINANCIERE POUR LA BONNE GOUVERNANCE AU SENEGAL

    On 25th August 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the Government of Senegal signed a Grant Agreement of US$ 1,800,000 for “le Projet de Renforcement de la Responsabilite Financiere pour la bonne Gouvernance au Senegal”. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of economic governance in Senegal through financial and budgetary accountability and transparency capacity building.

  2. ACBF provides US$1.5 million to strengthen policy analysis and research capacity in Zambia (ZIPAR)
    Harare, 23 August 2005(ACBF) - On 23 August 2005, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the Government of Zambia signed a Grant Agreement that will provide US$1.5 million, over a four-year period, to support the establishment of a semi-autonomous Institute for Policy Analysis and Research in Zambia, to be known as the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR).

  6. ACBF and the Government of Namibia sign a US$ 1,580, 096 Grant Agreement aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of public service delivery in Namibia
