Participants at this workshop will consist of Executive Directors and a select number of professional researchers of all ACBF-supported policy institutions, other institutes with similar mandates on the Continent and a number of eminent development specialists with strong professional interest in the development and management of economic and social policies and programs in Africa. In addition, a select few partner policy institutes outside Africa will also be invited to share experiences. Thus, a total of 80 ACBF-supported institutions will participate in addition to 15 other research and training institutions in Africa, 20 eminent professionals and 5 non-African research and training institutions. Thus, about 120 participants will attend APIF 2004. The workshop will be held on November 15-16, 2004 at the Meikles Hotel, Harare, Zimbabwe.
