The Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the coordination of all activities (Operations, Planning and Administration) between the Office of the Executive Secretary and the various departments in the Foundation. She also acts as the Officer-In-Charge of the Foundation in the absence of the Executive Secretary. The other units in her office are Monitoring & Evaluation, Corporate Services, and Procurement.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) presents an opportunity for the Foundation to developing further a monitoring and evaluation system which guides a systematic assessment of the Foundation’s performance and serve as a tool for efficient resource allocation, operational effectiveness, and learning from lessons. The M & E unit is responsible for developing and implementing an effective monitoring and evaluation system within the context of results framework for the Foundation. The M&E system will provide a framework for tracking organisational results as well as ACBF’s contributions to development effectiveness. The system will also generate information to guide management decision and learning in order to improve performance.
The Corporate Services Department
The Corporate Services department manages the contractual commitments with service providers. It also provides administrative services (office management solutions, travel management, procurement services, and security etc.). CSD also manages the administration of consultants contracts.
