MoU cements strategic partnership between ACBF and AU and harnesses joint resources for a better Africa

The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the African Union (AU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Kampala, Uganda. H.E. Mr. Jean Ping, Chairperson of the African Union Commission signed on behalf of the AU and Dr. Frannie Léautier Executive Secretary on behalf of ACBF.

African Capacity Building Foundation Mission Meets With H.E. President Kikwete of the Republic of Tanzania at the Fringes of the AU Summit in Uganda

On 26 July 2010 in Kampala, Uganda, an ACBF mission comprising Dr. Frannie Léautier, Executive Secretary, Dr. Dieynaba Tandian, Manager Operations Department, Eastern and Southern Africa, Mr. Shupi Chiminhi, Legal Counsel, Mr. Franklin Mutahakana, Senior Aide to the Executive Secretary and Ms. Rutendo Kambarami, Communication Officer met with H.E. Monitoring and Evaluation Training Programme held for ACBF Program Staff and ACBF Projects and Programs

On 5-19 July and 12-16 July 2010, two workshops (Francophone and Anglophone), were held on Monitoring and Evaluation in Nairobi, Kenya. The M&E Unit of the Knowledge, Evaluation and Learning (KEL) Department organized the training programmes for all ACBF grantees and program officers.

ACBF Holds 2nd ACI Training Workshop for Anglophone Field-data Collectors
On July 15-16, 2010, the ACBF ACI Team held its second training workshop for field data-collectors, recruited to undertake in-country field surveys for the Foundation’s flagship publication – African Capacity Indicators (ACI).
