As part of the program for the Opening Session of the Forum, ACBF and Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique signed a Grant Agreement in respect of ACBF’s funding support of US$2million for the launch of an Economic Policy Management training program at the University. Dr. Soumana Sako, ACBF Executive Secretary signed on behalf of the Foundation, while the Vice Chancellor of Eduardo Mondlane University signed on behalf of the University.

Also signed during the Forum was a Memorandum of Understanding between ACBF and Microsoft geared towards collaboration by both institutions in the strengthening of ICT capacity in Africa. Dr. Soumana Sako, ACBF Executive Secretary signed the MOU on behalf of the Foundation, while Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra, Microsoft Chairperson for Africa signed for Microsoft.
