Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is a key component of ACBF’s capacity building interventions, aimed at promoting accountability and learning to achieve results. M&E is central to the development, implementation, and demonstration of results from ACBF’s capacity building grants, knowledge sharing and technical support across Africa.
The Foundation conducts independent evaluations to assess the impact of its capacity building projects and programs. The key findings and recommendations from such evaluations are used for program improvement, knowledge generation and accountability.
ACBF also provides customized, innovative, and hands-on M&E technical support to its partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of interventions and achievement of sustainable results. Moreover, ACBF offers demand-driven M&E technical and advisory support to governments and non-state actors across Africa aimed at enhancing their capacity to develop, mainstream, and stimulate utilization of M&E information in decision making for maximum effectiveness and impact.
