The Economy of Ghana Network (EGN) was aimed at strengthening economic research and establishing effective interface between specialists researching on the economy of Ghana and policy makers. Thus EGN was a tool for and base for generating, scanning, sharing and promoting effective utilization of knowledge for managing development in Ghana.
The overall goal of the project is to consolidate the gains made towards the intended transformation of the Economy of Ghana Network (EGN) into a full-fledged Country Level Knowledge Network (CLK-NET) that would serve as a community of purpose for fostering stakeholder participation and collectively generating, scanning, sharing and promoting the effective utilization of information and knowledge in the development management process in Ghana.
