In its “Gambia Incorporated Vision 2020” and the “Poverty Reductions Strategy Paper (PRSP)” The Gambia expressed its intention to transform the country from a low income into a middle income country with a vibrant public sector. In recognition of the need for enhancing partnerships among key stakeholders in the economic development process, this project contributed to the achievement of the country’s development strategy by strengthening the interface among public sector, private sector and civil society to enhance public dialogue in policy formulation so that development policies and strategies reflect broader consensus among major stakeholders.

The goal of the project was to contribute positively to effective and quality policy dialogue among the Government, private sector and civil society.
