Existing Grants
The specific objectives are to:
(i) Improve the organizational performance of the FANRPAN Regional Secretariat through institutional strengthening measures to facilitate policy processes in East and Southern Africa;
(ii) Enhance capacity of FANRPAN’s Country nodes to undertake advocacy on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) policy formulation; and
(iii) Strengthen knowledge management, communication and information sharing within the FANRPN network.
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of higher education in science and engineering in Africa for effective technological innovation harnessing that better support the economic development of the continent.
The goal will be achieved through the following two specific objectives:
(i) To enhance skills and competencies of policy analysts and economic managers in the public sector in Anglophone West Africa; and
(ii) To strengthen the institutional and human capacities of the University of Ghana for effective delivery through EPM-Ghana
The project goal is to improve economic growth for sustainable development and social advancement in Tanzania. The specific objectives are to:
(i) enhance the analytical skills of relevant MDAs staff in economic policy analysis;
(ii) improve the advocacy skills of non-state actors for an effective participation in economic decision making process; and
(iii) enhance the institutional capacity of ESRF for the sustainability of its operations.
The project objectives are to:
(i) Strengthen the capacity of CANGO Secretariat to coordinate NGO policy advocacy programs in Swaziland; and
(ii) Improve capability of CANGO consortia to effectively engage in the policy making in Swaziland
The goal of the project is to strengthen institutional, technical and managerial capabilities of the NIM-AIST in order to enhance its effectiveness as a world class institution by providing the best facilities for graduate and post-doc studies and research that would facilitate bridging between research and industrial development through effective technological innovations for sustainable economic development of the continent.
The goal of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of AUST for a sustained scale up of qualified human resources in science and technology.
The overall objectives of the Project are to:
(i) Strengthen institutional capacity of Parliament to enable it provide an environment for effective legislative work;
(ii) Build Skills of parliamentarians and parliamentary staff to enable them effectively perform their duties;
(iii) Strengthen Parliamentary Committees to effectively carry out their oversight functions in monitoring reforms and policy implementation; and (iv) Institutionalize gender integration in parliamentary activities.
The project goal is to contribute to national development processes in Burundi. The project specific objectives are to:
(i) Enhance the institutional and human capacity in the public sector for improved economic policy analysis and management;
(ii) Strengthen the Non-State Actors capacity in public policy analysis and assessment, and
(iii) Strengthen IDEC institutional capacity in order to improve its effectiveness in resource mobilization to address sustainability.
The specific objectives of the Program are to:
(i) Improve the skills and competencies in economic policy management; and
(ii) Strengthen the human and institutional capacity of the College of Business and Management Sciences at Makerere University
