National Focal Point
The National Secretariat for Capacity Building - SENAREC (Secretariat National pour le Renforcement des Capacities) was set up to establish a global coherency, an increased efficiency (by avoiding duplication and wastage) and to ensure ownership and sustainability in capacity building activities.
The support to national Focal Point had the following objectives:
- To enhance better coordination of design, implementation and evaluation of capacity-building activities in the public sector, private sector, civil society and in training and research institutions.
- To improve monitoring of donor interventions in capacity building.
- To develop and monitor adjustments of capacity building strategies through the implementation of findings from prospective studies.
- To follow-up on the National Capacity Building Program and implementation of action plans for the public sector, private sector and the civil society.
