National Focal Point
2001

The National Focal Point (NFP) was established to create a global coherence and increase efficiency, by avoiding duplication of efforts and wastage, and to ensure ownership and sustainability of capacity building activities in Zambia.

The project supported the establishment of the National Focal Point Secretariat within the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, which was the central and coordinating agency of capacity building activities in Zambia. The NFP also facilitated the involvement of stakeholders in the setting of the capacity building priorities for Zambia.
