The Centre de Recherches d’Etudes et d’Appui A L’Analyse Economique de Madagascar(CREAM), was established in 2003 with the support of ACBF and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The mission of the Centre is to enhance the capacity of Malagasy institutions in charge of economic management in the areas of analysis, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of economic policies.At its 40 Regular Meeting, in December 2008, the Executive Board approved a grant of US$2 million to CREAM for phase II.
The main goal of CREAM project is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Madagascar in economic policy research, policy analysis, formulation and management. The goal forthe second phase is to strengthen Centre’s institutional platform, and consolidate its achievements, in order to enhance the capacity of the Government of Madagascar in economic policy research, policy analysis, formulation and management for the implementation of the Madagascar Action Plan (MAP).
